Hey guys! So there’s currently a trick circulating on the community of Clash Royale that is known only to a few people. It’s called “The Hidden PEKKA trick”. The first person to introduce this trick to me is a friend of mine on our clan. This is not a super cool trick. You might even say it’s a bit ordinary but… there’s this “Why did I not think of it before???” factor on this trick. It’s super easy but very effective especially if you caught your opponent unawares.

As the name suggests, this trick involves using the PEKKA card. Er, not the big guy like on my “Pekka Overwhelming deck build“. No, we’re talking about the little guy, the Mini PEKKA. You will also need the Minion Horde card to work together with MP. Now you might already have an idea how this works right? I wanted to create a video on how this trick works but decided to check youtube first if someone already made one. Fortunately, I found only one and that is what I am going to share on this post. Check it out below.

So now that you’ve seen the trick, what do you think? Honestly, I have tried this and out of 8 battles, it worked so well on 6 of them! Haha! It was so much fun to use this trick especially if your enemy is not expecting you’d drop it out of nowhere. I hope this works well for you too! Have fun guys!

Hey hey hey! The Pekka card is currently one of the most sought after Clash Royale card and it’s not really surprising what with the humongous HP of this bad boy. If you have a Pekka card and don’t know how to use him well, check out our Pekka Overwhelming Deck build and see if this is the kind of deck for you. It’s less than 4 average elixir cost and easy to learn. For this post however, I would like to share with you a strategy that allows one to put 5 Pekkas on the board! You read that right! It’s not 2, not 3 but 5 Pekkas!

So I am not really sure if this is a good idea to do on actual battle but it really is doable on a controlled environment such as playing with a guild mate or your friends where they can just let you prepare everything needed to summon the 5 Pekkas. On a real battle however, it might be hard but hey you guys are welcome to try and tell us what the results are.

clash royale pekka strategy

So in order for this strategy to work, you need to have a Pekka card (of course), Mirror Card and Elixir Collector Card. Pekka card costs 7 elixirs so to get 5 of them on the battle field, you will need tons of elixirs and the Elixir Collect is the only card that can provide you with the needed elixirs. The Mirror card allows you to re-summon the last card that you used, so if you summoned Pekka, you can summon another 1 immediately using the mirror card. Just do the same thing again to summon 4 Pekkas and before the time runs out, you will still have time to summon one more. Check out the video below by Godson to better understand how this strategy works.

Hey guys! It’s time for Clash Royale Glitch, Bugs, Cheats or Hacks that players found on the game. Please take note that these bugs of glitches usually don’t last long especially if it’s already out on the public and a lot of gamers are using it. Today let’s check out The Witch Glitch. Please don’t get too excited since this Clash Royale Bug is no longer working and has long been patched but it’s still cool to see this kind of glitch.

The Clash Royale “Witch Glitch” happened last January, a week after the game was released. Since the gaming population back then is still small, not many players these days know of this that is why I am sharing it here. Again, this is no longer working. This is for entertainment purposes only. Feel free to leave your thoughts through comments below and if you found some Clash Royale glitches or bugs that is not well known yet, feel free to share it with us and we’ll credit it to you.

THE WITCH GLITCH

So this glitch works by putting a Tombstone behind a tower, the closest it is to the corner, the better. A Witch is then placed behind it hoping for it to be stuck between the Tombstone and the walls of the arena. If successful, the Witch will get stuck there but it won’t die. It will continue on summoning skeleton armies. If it goes un-check, they can easily overwhelm enemy minions on the other side of the arena. Check out the video below to see this Clash Royale Glitch in action. Cheers!

Hey guys! New to Clash Royale and wondering how to make a deck that can help you raise your rank with as little cost as possible? This Clash Royale Deck Building Guide will provide you with tips, strategy guide, sample decks and more! Feel free to post your thoughts at the bottom of this page if you have questions or tips you would like to share. I hope this deck building guide for Clash Royale can help you in any way. Cheers!

So let’s start off with my experience on the game and my first Clash Royale deck that helped me raise my rank from 1000 to 1700 trophies. It’s not very expensive and I got all these cards without spending any money to buy chests. Although you need some bit of luck or time to get all these cards but it’s really worth . I suggested this deck to my friends and it helped them out a lot so I hope it will do the same for you.

Sample Clash Royale Deck Build- 1 Tower Win Deck

So this deck was created by me and it’s mostly a defensive deck and it’s aim is to defend as much as possible and aim to take down only 1 tower deck of your enemy. A win no matter if you destroy 2 towers or 1 tower is still a win and will increase your trophy. This deck is not for gamers who likes to rush things. One needs patience in making this deck work. If you think you are that person, check out this Clash Royale deck build below and enjoy!

Clash Royale Deck Building Guide

 • Giant Skeleton – I usually use this to destroy towers or group of enemies. Sometimes if I got this at the start of the game together with the archers or goblins, I would try for a rush. When I reach 9 elixirs, I would throw down the GS then the archers as backups to help kill any minions deployed to stop GS. It’s a 50/50 chance for the GS to hit the tower but if it does, it’s a big help. If it doesn’t, it’s still ok because the surprise attack affected the plan of my enemy in one way or another.
 • Tesla – main defense and I always put it on the field as soon as it is available. Why? Because I believe that it somehow destract the enemy. Like for example they are planning on rushing or have a plan on how to attack me with a combo or something but then they see the tesla and they will surely have to hesitate and make a new plan on how to deal with the tesla first. They won’t attack rashly thus I get time for my elixir to refresh and ready to either attack or defend.
 • Skeleton army – I usually use them for defense from Hog Rider, Prince, any big minions or anything at all that goes near my tower. They are the best though in stopping Hog and Prince. Just make sure that your enemy doesn’t have arrows or has already used them before you use skel army.
 • Fireball – Used mostly for destroying groups of minions or buildings and finishing towers.
 • Archers – Mostly for defense against air and land minions. Also backups for GS.
 • Spear Goblins – Same as archers.
 • Arrows – Best against group of minions.
 • Goblin Barrel – Used to test if enemies have arrows or fireballs and good for destroying towers.

Clash Royale Deck Building Guide

Deck building in Clash Royale is not all about having the best cards at all. It’s about making all cards on your deck work together. Sure Epic cards are the strongest but having all epic cards on your deck does not mean it’s a sure deck especially if they do not sync with each other. Like you can’t have control and rush cards on one deck. You can either go control or rush deck. Of course, you can’t just throw any cards on a deck. Study your cards and form a combination with them that works well with each other. Check out some tips on Clash Royale deck builds below.

Defense! Defense!

If you’re new to the game, I would suggest you focus first on your defense rather than thinking of the fastest way to defeat your enemies. Chances are, a lot of your enemies have played the game longer than you and knows tons of strategies on the game. So while starting, it’s best to first make sure you have a good defense so you can somehow feel the game and see how your enemies play and what their strategies are without getting easily trampled. The Clash Royale deck build above is one example of a defense build that could help you out rise on trophy rank fast even if you are new to the game.

Average Elixir Cost

When my friends played the game for the first time, they of course asked for some guide from me after a week of playing. One of the questions that I asked them is “How much is your average elixir cost?” and they answered back “Eli what?? What’s that??”. So for those new to the game or even those who have been playing the game for weeks already, it’s still safe to say that some don’t know what elixir cost is. Let me explain.

Check out one of your cards. On the upper left side you will see a purple tear with a number inside. You will see a value from 1-8. That is the elixir cost of individual cards. Meaning, you will need that much elixir to be able to use that card on the battle field. Now when you have a deck, each card will have an elixir cost and the game automatically combines all cost and divides them up with the number of cards on the deck. The total is your deck’s elixir cost.

clash royale elixir cost

Why is it important? – Well if you have a high total elixir cost, that means you will be waiting longer on the game before you can deploy your troops. Advantage is high elixir cost cards are usually pretty strong. Disadvantage is if your enemy has low elixir cost cards, he or she can deploy a couple of minions already while you are still waiting for your elixir to be enough to deploy just one minion. You have a higher chance of getting attacked first.

If want a rush Clash Royale deck build then it’s best to have an average elixir cost less than 3.5 and if you wish to have a control deck, the ideal average elixir cost is 4.0 and above. So always make sure to watch your average elixir cost when creating your Clash Royale deck build.

Know your cards

Don’t put anything on your Clash Royale deck without knowing what that card does or because it looks cool or something. That’s stupid. Make sure you know the advantages and disadvantages of each card and what other cards work best for it. Check out some important information below:

Splash Damage Cards – Best at hitting multiple enemies at once

 • Giant Skeleton
 • Baby Dragon
 • Wizard
 • Bomb Tower
 • Bomber
 • Mortar
 • Witch
 • Lightning
 • Arrows
 • Fireball
 • Rocket
 • Valkyrie
 • Zap

Anti-air Cards – Best against air type minions (Always have at least 2 on your deck)

 • Inferno Tower
 • Musketeer
 • Witch
 • Baby Dragon
 • Wizard
 • X-Bow
 • Archers
 • Tesla
 • Spear Goblins

High HP Cards – Best used as meat shields. If possible, put backups behind them.

 • P.E.K.K.A
 • Giant Skeleton
 • Giant
 • X-Bow
 • Golem
 • Prince
 • Inferno Tower
 • Goblin Hut
 • Cannon
 • Bomb Tower

So that’s it guys! I hope this small information on Clash Royale Deck Building Guide somehow helped you on deciding what’s the best deck for you on the game. I will leave you with a video below of this cool guy Ash on youtube explaining some basic information on deck building. Cheers!

Please leave a comment below if you need help with anything or if you have thoughts regarding my guide above. Cheers!

The company announced that for the tournament, Supercell will let the contestants use a special build deck where all cards are unlocked and all on the same levels. That’s the only way it should go I guess for the sake of fairness.

Although this is the first official tournament by Supercell, there have been some Clash of Clans tournaments already and the most popular being the “Clash Royale Youtube Tournament” where famous youtubers of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale battled it out with each other. You can see the whole tournament below.

If you are playing Clash Royale and does not spend any cash on the game or have no plans on spending any in the future then we can only drool when we see youtube gaming celebs spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars opening magical chests and see their cards go up to a bunch of levels, nearing max. I for one have already spent nearly two hundred dollars on this game but I think that’s my limit and it will never compare to the youtube guys or those on the top spots on the global rank.

This post will show you a video of GamingMolt, one of the famous Clash Royale youtubers at the moment and he’s also on the top 5 spot on the global rankings. Recently he finally reached 700,000 subscribers on his youtube account and for celebrating it, he opened 70 magical chests and he’s got it all on video. Check it out below.

The post 1 Tower Win Ver 2.0 Deck Build appeared first on Clash Royale Cheats and Guides.

]]>
Hey guys so I am back with another deck build for Clash Royale. It’s actually a modified version of the “1 Tower Win” deck which I used to easily climb from the 1,000 trophy to 1,800 trophy rank. Unfortunately after 1800 rank, the enemies have a better deck combination which prevented me from going farther up the ranks. I decided it’s time to modify my deck and add some cards that can counter most strong cards of my enemies. Thus the “1 Tower Win” version 2.0 was born.

MODIFICATIONS:

Cards Removed – Fireball and Goblin Barrel. So I decided to remove both of these cards because I personally think that both of them are the least important cards on the deck and because I know the cards that I will exchange for them will do the same thing that they do but much better.

Cards Added – Hog Rider and Rocket. Now reading the names of the two cards that I added, you may already understand what I meant earlier right? I changed the Goblin Barrel to Hog Rider. Why? Because I usually use Goblin Barrel to attack enemy towers and 80% of the time, the enemy has a counter for it. Either arrows or just minions. It’s very easy to counter. Hog Rider however is not. 70% of the time, Hog Rider always arrives to the tower and deals damage as long as it is dropped at the right time. It has the same Elixir price as the Goblin Barrel but is more effective.

Fireball changed to Rocket – I usually use fireball to kill mobs and destroy towers when their health are low to finish them. However, I noticed that enemies above 1800 trophy usually use mob buildings or X-bows. Fireball is not enough to deal good damage on these cards so I opted to use Rocket instead. With Rocket, it can one-shot a X-Bow and destroy mob buildings while also doing damage to towers. It’s usually enough to one shot defenses like Inferno Tower, etc.

12487153_10206741986846185_4225882383462036685_o

STRATEGY:

At the start of the game, if I get the Roket or Giant skeleton, I usually wait for my opponent to make the first move waiting to see if they will use X-bow or put a mob building near their tower. Rocket will usually take care of them. If I don’t have Rocket or Giant skeleton, I would put up Inferno tower instead. This will make the enemy hesitant on what to drop so it will give me time for my elixir to regenerate to full and be ready with what the enemy drops on his or her next move.

Defensive Game – With this deck, I usually do defense than offense. I try to put up Inferno tower whenever it becomes available because it probably is the best defense tower on the game since it can attack both land and air units and not easily destroyed and only costs 5 elixirs. Putting up Inferno tower will always make your opponent hesitant in attacking and have to think of ways to destroy the tower first. While he’s thinking of strategies, you already have the tower as defense, your elixir will regenerate to full so you will be ready to drop other mobs to either counter his attack or make your own attack.

Offense is also important – For offense, I mostly use Hog Rider, Rocket and Giant skeleton. As much as possible, I try to use rocket only when they put up mob buildings near towers to maximize it’s use. Hog Rider drops when I think that the enemy has used up most of his or her elixirs and Giant skeleton is dropped together with some minions for backup or arrows waiting for enemies to popup to block the Giant skel.

So what do you think of this build? The video? Any thoughts? Feel free to share them by commenting below. Oh if you are wondering how I was able to record my battles, check out my guide on how to record iOS and Android games. It’s quite surprising how a lot of gamers are unaware of this procedure who also wants to share their fights with other people on youtube or social media. Cheers!

Hey guys! It’s time for another deck spotlight and this time, the deck that I will be introducing uses one of the most annoying cards in the game and every time you see it being played, you would feel a bit scared and anxious to destroy it as fast as you can. I am referring to the X-Bow of course. For experts on top of the rankings, they no longer worry about it too much because they all have counters for it but for mid to low rankers, seeing your enemy use an X-Bow is quite scary.

If you luckily have this card then check out this Clash Royale deck build and see if you can build it and win tons of games with it. I’ve been playing this for a while now and with it, it helped me reach 2100 trophies from 1900. That’s a pretty good jump. Before this deck, I was using my personal favorite, “1 Tower Win” Clash Royale deck and it was a lot of fun to use but unfortunately, it’s limit seems to be until 1,900 trophies only. If you’re on the mid or low ranks you might want to check that deck out.

X-BOW CONTROL (CLASH ROYALE DECK BUILD)

clash001

I actually found this deck on reddit, posted by RumHam. I tested it out and it works really well especially since I have higher levels of the cards used on this deck. Credits goes to RumHam for this and if you can, you guys should definitely try this deck out.

X-Bow The namesake of the deck can feel like the most powerful card in the game, yet I rarely see it at high-level competition. This deck is designed to place an X-Bow to attack the enemy Crown Towers and then make favorable reactive trades to allow the X-Bow clear shots. An X-Bow can 100% kill a Tower if uninterrupted, so that’s what we are trying to do.

I tend to place them in the middle, tilting to one side (so it attacks that way first), but there are times where putting them in a side lane is the correct play.

There are a ton of nuances to playing X-Bow that I’d hate to say there are hard and fast rules. If I draw one in my opening hand, I tend to cast it immediately as a test, but that can backfire if they have a good counter. Late game I tend to wait til 8 Elixir so I can quickly Tombstone or Arrows to protect it.

Tombstone Control decks tend to be very reactive, so I’ll start with the most purely reactive card in the deck. Tombstone is used to block Giants, Giant Skeletons, Hog Riders, and Balloons coming for your Towers and especially X-Bows.

I fell in love with Tombstone the first time I saw it block a Prince’s charge and kill the Prince with the spawned Skeletons. If you take anything away from this article, 3 Elixir Tombstone trading with a 5-Elixir prince is one of the most powerful plays you can make in this deck.

Goblin Barrel Like X-Bow, Goblin Barrel is the type of card that requires an immediate reaction or it deals outsized damage for it’s Elixir cost. The best time to cast it then, is immediately after they cast an expensive card that will not affect the Barrel Goblins.

A very common example is casting Goblin Barrel in reaction to a Prince, then dropping Tombstone in front of the Prince.

Arrows This is a great counter card to so many things… The most common way for people to counter X-Bow is with swarm cards like Skeleton Army, Goblin Barrel, Minions/Minion Swarm, etc. Your 3 Elixir cancelling out their 4+ Elixir every time you cast it is a great tempo swing that adds up over 3-4 casts per game.

If you are playing another defensive deck with Goblin Barrel, using Arrows on their Barrels with negate a huge amount of the damage their decks are able to put out, and you gain 1 Elixir of tempo.

Valkyrie & Baby Dragon A deck can’t be purely reactive, these 2 slots are for cards that we cast when nearing the Elixir cap that we are comfortable sending blindly down a lane. They are well-rounded units that are hard to directly counter, your opponent is never going to wipe all 4 Elixir of value out of them without losing something in exchange. If they trade well and survive, they can function as bait for Arrows or Goblin Barrel.

I suppose these could be any two well rounded units like Barbarians or Knights but I chose Valkyrie and Baby Dragon for having AoE attacks while themselves being resistant to AoE attacks. They can function like a 2nd and 3rd copy of Arrows to counter light swarms while surviving to push the lane.

Valk specifically was added over a prior card because of her effectiveness against Witches, which is one of the most difficult cards for this deck to handle.

Minion Swarm OR Minions This is the slot for our swarm card. Giants, Balloons, Princes, Giant Skeletons and P.E.K.K.A.s of all shapes and sizes get ripped to shred by swarms. I prefer the flying units as more hedging against Witches.

It’s preference whether to use the lower cost 3 Elixir squad. The Swarm is more value for the cost BUT the whole swarm still dies to Arrows, which opens you up to the sort of big tempo swings we try to avoid with Baby Dragon and Valkyrie. If you use the Swarm, be mindful of their AoE spells.

Rocket Fitting that the last card in the deck is often the last card you play. The ideal ending of a game for you is comfortably safe with the announcer counting down and a Rocket in the air.

Defensive Spawner decks tend to match up well against you, so Rocket becomes a much more aggressive play. It can destroy Goblin Houses immediately and often greatly reduce the lifespan of the Barbarian Huts.

So at the moment of writing this, Clash Royale was released just a few weeks ago and I am one of those lucky ones who was able to play on the first day of soft launch until now and have gained some pretty valuable knowledge already on what to do and not to do if you are just starting on this game. For those who are new to Clash Royale and would like to learn about the game first before heading out to battle (which is the wisest thing to do) then let me give you my Clash Royale Top 5 Tips for Beginners!

Tip #1 – Spend your Elixir Wisely
Probably the most important tip you would get on this game. Clash Royale is an Elixir game. Whoever spends it efficiently wins the game. Always think before you drop your cards. Try to anticipate what your opponent would drop and counter it using the least possible amount of elixirs. On attacking, just because you can, it doesn’t mean you should. Always make sure you have a backup plan when attacking so that if your opponent gets to counter your attack you have some elixirs left for defense or a counter attack.

Tip #2 – Make changes on your deck slowly
If you have played the game, you know that you can see players ranking both worldwide and local. Worldwide players are usually already experts on the game so you won’t see their ranks fluctuate but on local, it’s common to see player ranks go up and down regularly. That’s because these players have a deck that they already master and would be able to increase their ranks pretty fast but then they would completely change their decks to try out new ones and of course they would loose most of the time because they are still practicing with a new deck. The wise thing to do is to just change one or two cards from your deck at a time to test out other combinations and still keep your rank or maybe even increase it.

Tip #3 – Watch TV Royale as much as you can
To be the best, one must start out by learning from the best. TV Royale is your best friend on Clash Royale. If you are not doing battles and have time to spare, make sure to check out TV Royale, watch battles that involves the top players and see their gameplay, strategies and try to emulate them on your own battles and see how it works.

clash-royale-tv-royale

Tip #4 – Do not always do the first move
If you start off with a bad set of cards, do not do the first move. It’s wiser to wait out what your opponent will do first then select cards from your hand to counter it but try to do it with as little elixirs as possible so you can counter sooner. Of course, if you have a great hand at the start of the game, it’s also wise to attack first and pray that your opponent have no good counters for it.

Tip #5 – Do not stop attacking after destroying 1 Tower
Of course, this is not always the case just like using my “1 Tower Win” deck build where defense is number one priority and the main objective is just to destroy one tower. However, in using other decks, it’s also good to still push through with attacks after destroying a tower as long as you still know how to protect your towers at the same time. Destroying two or three towers is always better than 1.

So there you go guys! I hope this helps even a little bit especially for beginners on the game. Oh by the way, there’s a good chance that you might want to record your games and you don’t know how so feel free to check out my guide on how to record Clash Royale battles on both iOS and Android. Till next time! Cheers!

Hello everyone! The title of this guide is how to record Clash Royale on both iOS and Android devices but actually this guide can be used to record all games or whatever else you are doing on your device that you wish to record. If you are not yet aware, on the first week of January, Supercell released Clash Royale for a soft launch that can only be downloaded and played on iOS and limited countries. Supercell is the company who brought us Clash of Clans, one of the most popular game on the app store and play store and has been downloaded and played by millions. They even have Liam Neeson as an endorser of the game!

Now they are back with what seems to be another sure-fire hit on the app store. Clash Royale is like Clash of Clans but it’s also not. The game uses most of the characters from COC but the gameplay is very different. It’s like a card game like Hearthstone but the difference is the minions you deploy on the ground moves and attacks which is way better than just cards being thrown on the ground.

So anyway, a lot of gamers wants their battles on Clash Royale to be downloaded to their computers so they can upload it to youtube, on their sites, or anywhere else where they want to showcase their winning moments on their battles. If you are one of them but don’t know how to record the games on your device then this guide is for you. This is not a Clash Royale hack or something. This is 100% safe to use and your account will not get into trouble with this. So let’s start.

Record Clash Royale and other games on iOS

AirServer – is an advanced AirPlay Receiver for Mac and PC. It allows you to receive AirPlay feeds, similar to Apple TV. Although it is a payed software, you can register with your e-mail for a free trial for 7 days and you can do it over and over again with different e-mail adresses!

Requirements
– A computer (Windows/Mac)
– A device with iOS 6+ (Jailbreak isn’t required)
– Fraps (This is what i use to record AirServer after displaying – download: http://www.fraps.com/download.php)

How to Set Up
1. Install AirServer. You can find several tutorials here: http://www.youtube.com/user/airserverapp/videos
2. Run AirServer and Open Clash on your device.
3. Swipe Up from the bottom on your device and next to the AirDrop icon, there should be a AirPlay icon. Click on that and choose your computer, after that click on mirroring. Now you will see your devices screen being mirrored to your computer. Can be a little laggy if you have a poor Wi-Fi. Remember that your device and your computer has to be connected to the same Wi-Fi for this to work.
4. After that you can record directly from AirServer.

Record Clash Royale and other games on Android

Recording on Android is actually pretty easy. You just need to download one app and you can start recording right away.
Rec. (Screen Recorder) – this is the app that I am using to record on my Android device. It has a free version and a Pro version. It’s really very easy to use. Just download, install and run. It has a setting that is very easy to understand so I won’t need to explain it here.

That’s it guys! So if you wish to record your Clash Royale battles on your devices, just follow the guides above and you will be showing off to your friends in no time. If you are new to the game, you might want to consider using my Clash Royale deck builds that I have and am using that allowed me to increase in rank pretty fast. Check out my “1 Tower Win” Deck and my “Pekka Overwhelming” deck then leave your thoughts about it on the comment section. Cheers!
